HELL OR HIGH WATER

On a pilgrimage abroad, Cahya’s parents are killed after being caught up in the 2018 Indonesian Tsunami. Vulnerable, alone and determined to keep their memory alive, Cahya heads to one of their religion’s local places of worship, a Sanctum, to reflect – where she is manipulated into joining full-time by one of its patrons.  Plunged into this new, dogmatic state of being, Cahya must escape from the Sanctum’s web of indoctrination and manipulation if she wants to re-join reality and truly begin to heal.
